PUBLIC NOTICE OF REGULAR MEETING OF THE VILLAGE OF HAZEL GREEN, GRANT/LAFAYETTE COUNTIES, WISCONSIN TO BE HELD ON TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 8, 2022

 

PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given to the public and to the news media pursuant to Section 19.84, of the Wisconsin Statutes, that a Regular Board Meeting of the Village of Hazel Green, Grant & Lafayette counties will be held on TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 8, 2022 at 6:00 P.M. at Village Hall, 1610 Fairplay St. Hazel Green, WI. The final agenda for said meeting is of consideration of the following matters. Any additions to this agenda may be posted on the bulletin board at 1610 Fairplay, Hazel Green, WI up to 24 hours before the meeting.

Social distancing will be enforced, and a face covering is required in Village Hall.

  1. Call to order.
  2. Roll call.
  3. Proof of giving notice.
  4. Pledge of Allegiance.
  5. Minutes of previous meeting.
    1. Approval of January 12th
  6. Public input.
    1. Clerk communications.
  8. Reports of Village officers.
    1. Director of Public Works report.
    2. Law Enforcement report.
  9. Village reports.
    1. Bills.
    2. October – December 2021 treasurer’s reports.
  10. Unfinished Business:
    1. Ice rink.
  11. New Business:
    1. Permanent ROW acquisition (56 SF) around the sidewalk around Veterans Memorial Park by the WI DOT.
    2. Extend sidewalk at 1510 W Fairplay St to the west.
    3. Review and possible change parking on side streets and dead ends.
    4. Inquiry about selling old Christmas decorations.
    5. Purchase additional large Christmas decorations.
    6. Approve single audit by Johnson Block for CDBG funds received for Sunshine Acres.\
    7. Approve fundraiser for Rec Park.
