RESOLUTION 2016-03
RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR AN ADVISORY REFERENDUM ON THE QUESTION OF ALLOWING ALL VILLAGE STREETS TO BE USED AS ATV AND UTV ROUTES IN THE VILLAGE OF HAZEL GREEN, GRANT AND LAFAYETTE COUNTIES, WISCONSIN
WHEREAS, The Village Board deems it desirable and in the best interest of the Village to direct the Village Clerk to submit the question of whether to allow all village streets to be used as ATV and UTV routes to the electors of the Village by means of an advisory referendum to be held on November 8, 2016;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE BOARD OF THE VILLAGE OF HAZEL GREEN, GRANT AND LAFAYETTE COUNTIES, WISCONSIN, AS FOLLOWS:
- The Village Clerk is hereby directed to call an advisory referendum to be held in said Village at the Village’s regular polling place on November 8, 2016, for the purpose of submitting the following question to the qualified electors of the Village:
Should the Village Board allow all village streets to be used as ATV and UTV routes?
YES NO
2. The advisory referendum, including all notices and election procedures, shall be held in accordance with the applicable laws of the State of Wisconsin. The Clerk is directed to post all required notices and procedures in the three Village posting places in lieu of publication.
3. A copy of this resolution shall be sent to the Grant and Lafayette Counties Clerk on the business day following the posting of this resolution.

It was moved by Becky Lee and seconded by President Dale Leifker that the foregoing resolution be adopted. Upon roll call vote, the following voted Yes: John Tranel, Josh Kearney, Chris Lisk, Becky Lee, Dave Jegerlehner, Robert Hessling and Dale Leifker. The following voted No: None. The Village President declared the resolution adopted.
